Outfits with Pattern
Patterns are tricky business. They aren’t a bad thing, and sometimes it actually makes for a beautiful addition, but it has to be done tastefully. Big blocky patterns are a definite no-no. The focus is you and loud patterns distract from that detail. I really only agree with patterns if they are simple and don’t distract me from your faces. Flannels and chambray are always a yes for me since they have an earthy tone and texture to them!
Outfits with Movement
Tight hugging clothes can look good, but it can also be the least flattering! It doesn’t allow for natural movement and comfortable poses. I will always vouch for outfits with lots of movement (dresses, sweaters, etc.) because they add movement to an image. With the way garments fall and flow through the wind, it creates an organic and dreamy feel. Like I mentioned before, stay comfy!
